The new professional 3-axis stabilization design of the Zhiyun SMOOTH 5S, with additional distance between the axes, offers more filming possibilities with a wider viewing angle at different shooting angles. The updated electric motors have an improved algorithm that ensures smartphones with a large display can be used. The wider phone clamp now allows external lenses to be used on the phone. The Zhiyun SMOOTH 5S has a powerful 300 lumen fill light with a color temperature of 5000K (90+ CPI) built in. In addition, as with the standard SMOOTH 5, it is possible to connect two additional external LED lights (optional accessory).

The wider axes of the Zhiyun SMOOTH 5S ensure fast switching between horizontal and vertical film modes. The axes thus strengthened also provide even better support/control for larger smartphones. For optimal control during filming, the SMOOTH 5S features a large control wheel for smooth and quick adjustment of Zoomposition, focus and selection of desired focal length. The SMOOTH 5S supports PD fast charging, so the gimbal is fully charged in just two hours and can film for up to 25 hours on a full battery!
